Age Group Info

• Boys 6U - Pre-K and Kindergarten have one practice per week, no formal games (We try to schedule a few fun games with neighboring programs).  Practices will begin at the end of March and run through the end of May.  These are typically on Sundays, but are dependent upon field availability and coaches’ schedules.  
• Boys 8U  will have two 1.5 hour practices per week beginning in late February/early March and then additionally one game per week, typically on Saturdays, beginning the end of March and finishing by Memorial Day.  Teams play 8 regular season games.
• Boys 10U-14U will have two practices a week with games typically on Saturdays, beginning the end of March and finishing by Memorial Day.  Teams play 8 regular season games plus playoffs.
  • Boys 10U  play on modified field with 7v7 players.    
  • Boys 12U - play on a full field with 10v10 players.  
  • Boys 14U - play on a full field with 10v10 players.

* Players on the A-level teams may have three practices a week depending upon field availability and the coaches’ schedules. 

Age Group Eligibility - Spring 2024

• 14U: All players must be born between 9/1/2009 and 8/31/2011
• 12U: All players must be born between 9/1/2011 and 8/31/2013
• 10U: All players must be born between 9/1/2013 and 8/31/2015
• 8U: All players must be born between 9/1/2015 and 8/31/2017
• 6U: All players must be born between 9/1/2017 and 8/31/2018

Equipment Requirement

Boys are required to have a Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Arm Pads, Gloves, Mouthguard, a Athletic Cup, and a Stick. Cleats are recommended.  If you do not own equipment CYA will rent equipment for the season, except for the Mouthguard, Cup, and Stick.
